Review From wired.com
I considered the machine’s pros and cons while I ate. I like the way the screen glows orange to tell you it’s doing things like preheating or getting up to pressure, which is a great teaching tool. I like the one-pot cooking you can do with pressure cookers in general. I love that the lid and cooking bowl are dishwasher safe. I also love Breville’s O-shaped plug, which makes unplugging a breeze and should forevermore be adopted by all other appliances in the world. Cleverly, it also starts the cook timer only once it’s reached the desired pressure, making following recipes easier. –wired.com
Review From latestelectricpressurecookers.com
The Breville Fast Slow Pro does a little bit of everything, from reducing sauces to slow-cooking pork shoulder. The variety of settings, especially the pressure-cooking function, would make this a good addition to your home, especially if you want to downsize the number of kitchen appliances that are filling your cabinet.
The Breville BPR700BSS (6 Quart) is an awesome cooker that can cut food preparation and cooking time and the results are extremely tasty and nutritious meals. Rib roasts and sauted steaks simply melt in your mouth. You not only save time cooking but you also get tasty, healthy and nutritious meals and it is a product we can recommend. –latestelectricpressurecookers.com
Review From corriecooks.com
This cooker cooks rather well and from most reviews, it has a decently long life span, one of the safety features it lacks that can potentially decrease the lifespan is the display screen where most of the information and function is held, has no protection facing on it.
For the most part, as long as you are careful that the lid doesn’t drip any stray hot water onto the screen you should be fine, but it is a concern.
All in all, it performs all cooking functions much better than you would expect, even for its price. –corriecooks.com
Review From hippressurecooking.com
I really love the automatic pressure release feature that this cooker offers. You can fully program it at the beginning of cooking (pressure, time, opening method and keep-warm) and there’s no need to attend to the cooker until the food is really ready without having to fiddle with the valve. Unless.. you’re planning to slow cook- then you must fiddle.
The ceramic insert – with little grooves to increase the surface area- works beautifully in “Sear†and “Saute’†modes. Ceramic coating is my next most favorite everyday cooking surface – after stainless steel, of course.
Knowing what’s going on inside the cooker during the cooking process is handy. But, the minimum liquid requirement isn’t obvious – Breville defines it in their own “special†way which is pretty darn confusing – even to a professional! –hippressurecooking.com
